About the farm

High in the magical mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the Arhuaco people live removed from society, dutifully tending to what they believe to be the ‘heart of the world.’ These profoundly spiritual people delicately work to maintain a respect for these sacred lands of dense rainforest and snow-clad peaks while sourcing their ultra-premium cacao.

About the Partnership

We respectfully work with the Arhuaco to provide technical assistance and create infrastructure improvements that improve crop yields without upsetting the natural harmony of their lands. By building up their purchasing centers and nurseries, we’ve brought organic certification capabilities to what is otherwise a very remote area of the world.
