About the farm

Resting in the magnificent mountains and valleys of the Cordillera Septentrional is the first-ever cacao-producing conservation reserve in the Dominican Republic. This bustling farm works in perfect harmony with the 1000+ acre private habitat, creating the region’s finest cacao and giving the rare migratory songbirds that share the trees something sweet to sing about.

About the Partnership

We work with Cacao del Bosque and local growers to implement organic farming principles and support the reserve’s ongoing conservation efforts of the Bicknell’s Thrush and other endemic bird species. With continued education on best practices, we’re responsibly boosting production and supporting the region economically while strengthening this valuable ecosystem’s biodiversity.
